What is Chair Yoga?

Chair Yoga adapts traditional yoga poses so that they can be done while seated on a chair or standing behind it using the chair for support. This practice is more accessible for people who cannot stand for long periods of time and for those who cannot get down and up from the floor easily. 

What are the benefits of Chair Yoga?

Increase mobility, flexibility, and balance. Improve posture. Build strength. Relieve lower back pain. Stimulates and sharpens the mind. Release stress and anxiety. Remove tightness and tension. Prevents injuries. Develop breath connection and body awareness. Improve quality of sleep and mood.


Who can benefit from this Program ? 

Beginners, Seniors, Post rehab patients. Anyone recovering from injuries and/or surgeries. Patients in physical therapy. Those fighting obesity and eating disorders. (With Doctor’s Approval) 

However this practice is beneficial to everyone as a way to maintain general physical health and as an addition to any other physical activities such as running, weight lifting, strength training, and it’s great for those who practice sports like Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball, used as conditioning to improve performance.
